Account Deletion Request

If you wish to delete your TekMegha account and all associated data, follow the steps below. This page is provided for users of the TekMegha app and web services.
Steps to Request Account Deletion
- Open the TekMegha app or website and log in to your account.
- Go to Profile – Tap your profile icon or navigate to the Profile section.
- Tap "Request deletion of my account and data" – This link is located in the Profile section, below the Logout button.
- Confirm your request – A confirmation dialog will appear. Tap "Continue" to proceed.
- Send the email – Your default email app will open with a pre-filled request. Send the email to info@tekmegha.com to complete your deletion request.
- Wait for confirmation – Our team will process your request within 30 days. You will receive a confirmation email once your account and data have been deleted.
Alternative: You can also send an email directly to info@tekmegha.com with the subject "Account Deletion Request - TekMegha" and include your registered email address.
Request Account DeletionData That Will Be Deleted
When you request account deletion, the following data associated with your TekMegha account will be permanently deleted:
- Account credentials (email, password hash)
- Profile information (name, phone, address)
- Business/store registrations and settings
- Invoice and billing data (Vruksha)
- Order history and cart data (Vyasa stores)
- Challenge submissions and team data (VAHI)
- Any other user-generated content linked to your account
Data That May Be Retained
We may retain the following data where required by law or for legitimate business purposes:
- Transaction and payment records (for tax, accounting, or legal compliance) – typically up to 7 years
- Anonymized or aggregated analytics that cannot identify you
- Backup copies for up to 90 days, after which they are purged
Retention Period
Account deletion requests are processed within 30 days. Once processed, your personal data is removed from our active systems. Any retained data (e.g., for legal compliance) is kept only for the minimum period required by applicable law, after which it is securely deleted.
