Refund Policy
TekMegha – Platform subscriptions & paid services
This Refund Policy applies to fees you pay directly to TekMegha for platform subscriptions, add-ons, or other TekMegha-hosted services. It does not govern payments between businesses and their customers on TekMegha-powered stores or profiles.
Important
- Refunds for purchases made to a business/profile owner through their TekMegha store, invoice, or profile must be requested from that business, not from TekMegha.
- TekMegha is not responsible for refunds, chargebacks, or disputes arising from transactions between a business owner and a TekMegha user or customer.
1. TekMegha platform fees
If you purchase a paid TekMegha plan, feature pack, or service billed by TekMegha, the following applies unless a specific offer states otherwise at checkout.
2. Subscription refunds
- Free trial: If a free trial is offered, you will not be charged until the trial ends unless you cancel before it expires.
- Monthly plans: Refund requests for the current billing period may be considered within 7 days of payment if the Service was not materially used or if there was a verified billing error. Partial-month refunds are not guaranteed.
- Annual plans: Refund requests may be considered within 14 days of initial purchase, subject to review. After that period, fees are generally non-refundable except where required by law.
- Renewals: Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled before the renewal date. Renewal charges are generally non-refundable once processed.
3. Non-refundable items
The following are typically not refundable unless required by applicable law or explicitly stated in writing:
- Fees for periods already elapsed on an active subscription.
- Setup, onboarding, or custom development fees once work has started.
- Third-party fees (payment gateway charges, domain registration, SMS credits, etc.) passed through by partners.
- Accounts suspended or terminated for violation of our Terms and Conditions.
4. How to request a refund
Email info@tekmegha.com with:
- Your registered email and business/store name (if any)
- Date and amount of payment
- Payment method or transaction reference
- Reason for the refund request
We aim to respond within 5–7 business days. Approved refunds are returned to the original payment method where possible and may take additional time to appear depending on your bank or payment provider.
5. Cancellations
You may cancel a subscription at any time from your account settings (where available) or by contacting support. Cancellation stops future charges but does not automatically entitle you to a refund for the current period unless covered above.
6. Chargebacks
If you dispute a charge with your bank or card issuer without contacting us first, we may suspend your account while the dispute is investigated. Fraudulent chargebacks may result in permanent account termination.
7. Business-to-customer transactions
Payments collected by businesses through TekMegha tools (invoices, online stores, booking flows, etc.) are handled between the business and its customer. Refund policies for those transactions are set by the business. TekMegha does not mediate or guarantee such refunds.
8. Changes
We may update this Refund Policy from time to time. The updated version will be posted on this page with a revised "Last updated" date.
